The description pretty much says it all. It stays extra slick and silky smooth, never gets sticky or tacky, takes longer to dry out than water-based lubes, and since silicone doesn't absorb into the skin like water-based lubes, it's less likely to cause a reaction on sensitive skin areas. Also, since you can use it to protect and shine leather, it's safe to use (and spill) on leather furniture. =) It's safe on all toy materials EXCEPT silicone, oddly enough, and Cyberskin brand materials.

I've used other types of lubricants before but Wet Platinum is probably the first I've ever used that helped keep the ride slippery with just few drops. Easy clean up is definitely a plus. Just be careful being overly generous with it as if you haven't trimmed the works the lube has a tendency to gather there. But then again shaving only takes a little time too. Its not cheap but if you're the type that believes that you get what you pay for, this is one more thing you can add to the list. Be careful about leaving the lube in any other position besides straight up as the tube itself has a tendency to leak (manufacturing issue with container?) I would suggest getting some kind of bag like a Ziplock if you want to take it with you on a vacation or your clothes will get the lube on it and we love cleaning lube out of our business suits and street wear. Nice conversation starter. Besides the aforementioned downside, it has more pros than cons. It gets a 4.5 because I can't make it a 5 for obvious reasons and there is no 4.5 to choose from the list. :)

I used Wet Platinum a few years back and at the same time was using Eros Bodyglide. Eros Bodyglide is very expensive, but an excellent lube. I was interested in seeing how Wet Platinum would compare. Both are very slippery and long lasting, although I would say that Eros has a thicker consistency. As far as performance, Wet Platinum works very well, although, now that I have used the Natural line, Wet Naturals Silky Supreme would be my Wet silicone lube of choice. Just because I think less is more, and less parabens in my lube is important to me.

This is the best lube we have found. Not sticky, stays slick and lasts a while, easy to clean off and doesnt stain sheets. Cost a bit more than the cheap stuff but well worth it if you are looking for quality. Our favorite!
